The Recruitment Journey
Applying for a new job is an exciting time, but we understand the process can be quite daunting. To give you a
helping hand on your journey, we've outlined some of the key stages of the process, so you know exactly what
to expect.
Find your perfect role
It is simple to search our current vacancies on this site.
Just click on vacancies and enter a keyword and / or location. You can also sign up for vacancy alerts, which
means we'll let you know when a relevant role becomes available, if there isn't currently anything suitable
for you.
Applying online
Our application form is very straightforward. Complete the questions as fully as you can - CVs are a great
tool, but we're always keen to hear about you in more detail.
You'll find plenty of information about us online, including details of our mission and values. It's a good
idea to do some research before completing your application, as this should help make your answers relevant.
Don't forget to refer to the role profile too - it'll help you to sell yourself in all the right ways.
Before you click to submit your application, check through everything you've written to make sure it's
accurate. Once you're happy, click submit, and your details will be passed on to the Hiring Leader. You'll
receive an email to confirm your application has been submitted successfully.
Shortlisting
We know you'll be keen to hear about your application as soon as possible, and we'll aim to update you as soon
as we have something to tell you. This can sometimes take a little time so we might need you to be patient
with us, but we promise to let you know the outcome, whatever that may be.
When we come to shortlist, we are looking for candidates who we feel are most suitable for the position. If
you are successful, we will contact you by phone or email to arrange an interview - this could be an initial
telephone interview or face-to-face or remotely via Microsoft Teams, depending on the role. We will also send
you any information you might need, and will let you know about anything you need to prepare beforehand.
Letting you know either way
If you don't make the shortlist, we will let you know by email. While we'd love to be able to give everyone
feedback, we're unable to do so at this stage due to the high level of applications we receive. We really
appreciate the time you've invested and still encourage you to apply for future roles.
Interview
This is our chance to get to know you as well as your chance to get to know us.
Again - don't forget to have another read through the role profile and do your research. This will help you
answer questions - and to form your own.
We'll chat about the role itself, your skills, and your experience, giving you the opportunity to tell us why
you're a great match.
Nerves are natural, so don't worry if you're feeling a little tense. Our advice? Talk clearly, give examples
where you can and - most importantly - be yourself.
You'll have the opportunity to ask some questions of your own, so think about those in advance. You need to
make sure we're right for you too!
If your interview is taking place online, have a read through our helpful video interview tips...
Like many other organisations, we sometimes use online interview methods.
There are plenty of free platforms available, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. So, we can work with candidates to find the most mutually convenient platform.
We would like to share with you some of our top tips on how to make the best impression in your video interview:
Next steps
After your interview, we'll aim to get back in touch with you as soon as we can. Sometimes, a second interview
may be part of the process - if that's the case, we'll let you know. If you're unsuccessful, we'll still let
you know and offer feedback where we can.
If you're successful, you'll hear from us as soon as we've made a decision - so do keep an eye on your phone!
We'll find a mutually agreeable start date, give you any further details you need, request any relevant
documents… and get ready to welcome you to the team!
